Wrapping 2010 up with a very special family - Ottawa family photographer

I was blessed to meet and photograph the family of fallen Ottawa police Constable Eric Czapnik yesterday. They warmly welcomed me into their home, and it was a joy. Please keep this beautiful family in your prayers today, the one year anniversary of his death.

This post will be my last of 2010. I wish you all blessings for a happy and healthy New Year.

~We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called "Opportunity" and its first chapter is New Year's Day~

I had a great time chasing Mr "J" around the yard yesterday afternoon. He's a quick little monkey!  By the end of it all I was covered in burrs, cut my knee and couldn't feel my frozen fingers....and I LOVED every minute of it!
